The Faculty of Agricultural Sciences together with the AKB Foundation and Alumni Göttingen e.V. initiated the programme: “Young researcher – funding of Masters thesis in developing countries.” This programme aims at supporting field research in developing countries. The study visit can be coordinated with a university, a research instititution or other cooperation partners in a developing country.
As all master students of CBL-participating faculties can apply, the Centre of Biodiversity and Sustainable Land Use (CBL) administers the funds.
The next deadline for applications is May 1st, 2019. Commencement of funding from July 1st, 2019.
According to funding rates per country, a travel and allowance support can be granted to a selected master student. Selection criteria, application rules and background information are given here.
