The Faculty of Agricultural Sciences togehter with the AKB Foundation and Alumni Göttingen e.V. has initiated a program for
young researcher – funding of Master theses in developing countries.
This program aims at supporting field research in developing countries. The study visit can be coordinated with a university, a research instititution or other cooperation partners in a developing country.
The funds are being administered by the Center for Biodiversity and Sustainable Land Use (CBL). Hence, all master students of CBL-participating faculties, such as the Faculty of Forest Sciences, can apply.
The next deadline for applications is November 1st 2018. Commencement of funding from January 1st, 2019.
According to funding rates per country, a travel and allowance support can be granted to a selected master student.
