Der digitale „Komm, mach MINT.“-Karriereauftaktmeet.ME findet online am 29. und 30. März 2021 von 15:00 –18:30 Uhr (Tag 1) und von 9:30 –13:30 Uhr (Tag 2) statt. Bewerben können sich MINT-Studentinnen oder -Absolventinnen ab dem 4. Semester eines Bachelorstudiums und ab dem 1. Semester eines Masterstudiums. MINT steht für Mathematik, Informatik, Naturwissenschaften, Technik.

09.12.2020 Lecture: How to land the job with your individual skill set – from a recruiter’s perspective In an interactive lecture on Dec 9th, 5pm, the HR consultant, Wolfgang Leybold, will share insights on what recruiters look for during the hiring process by changing your perspective to that of a recruiter. You will then learn how to understand your skill set as your “product” that helps you to stand out of the crowd and to develop your very own communication and application strategies by highlighting skills which you have acquired during your university career. 22.01. – 12.02. Fit for the European labour market – Writing convincing applications in English
Within the 4 sessions of a workshop offered by the University’s Career Service, starting on Jan 22nd, you will learn universal tools and strategies which you can use to write a convincing job applications for jobs in Europe. You will figure out how to develop your own convincing application style. By the end of the workshop you will develop a complete job application for a position of your choice and will have an opportunity to gain peer feedback and feedback from the course instructor. On Monday, October 26th, at 4pm, we will offer the introductory lecture for new MSc students.
Starting from 4:30pm the representatives of the specializations in the MSc programme will present their specialization for about 10min each.
The event will take place online. Further information will be announced via the Stud.IP community forum “Freshmen MSc Computer Science“.
MSc students of higher semesters are also welcome. Especially for MSc students who started in summer a participation might be interesting since no poster session and presentation of specializations took place in summer. To get more information please register to the community forum.
