Dear Students,

from July 17 to 21, 2023, the workshop „Beyond Explainable Artificial Intelligence” (Beyond XAI) takes place in Goettingen, at the University Medical Center (Robert-Koch-Strasse 40). The workshop is hosted by the Department of Medical Informatics. Please visit the Workshop Website for detailed information on the program and organizational information. The workshop is part of the European university Network to promote equitable quality of Life, sustainability, and Global engagement through Higher education Transformation – ENLIGHT.

This workshop is an extraordinary possibility to gain expertise in a highly dynamic field, which is vital to Computer- and Data Science today. The number of participants is limited to 24. The application portal – hosted by GWDG – is open now. You need to apply through the portal in order to obtain a seat in the workshop. Each application will be considered by the international academic workshop committee. Admissions will be based on the candidate’s qualifications – please see the application portal website for admission criteria. Application is possible until July 9, 2023. There is a quota of 10 international seats and 14 seats for students at Goettingen university. Once all seats are taken, the application portal will be closed, so admission also follows a first come, first served principle.

The workshop will be held in English. All participants will receive a certificate of attendance. A decision on accreditability will have to be made individually by your respective study program coordinators.
