New Call for Applications for Long-Term Academic Staff of the Pan African University Institute of Water and Energy Sciences (incl. Climate Change)

The Pan African University (PAU) has launched a new Call for Applications for its institutes. Among them are 12 long-term academic staff positions of PAUWES. The thematic areas of the announced positions at PAUWES are in the fields of Water, Energy and Policy. Closing date for applications is 28th of March 2016. Since 2013 the DAAD is participating, in cooperation with Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) and the KfW Development Bank, in the constitution of the Pan African University Institute of Water and Energy Sciences (incl. Climate Change) (PAUWES) at the Abou Bekr Belkaïd University in Tlemcen, Algeria. The PAUWES-institute is one of the five hubs of the PAU. PAU has been founded by the African Union (AU) with the aim to revitalize African higher education and research towards the achievement of a prosperous, integrated and peaceful Africa. The PAUWES institute offers four degree programmes: Two Masters of Science in Water (Engineering or Policy option) and two Masters of Science in Energy (Engineering or Policy option). The four of them are full time two-year master’s programmes. At a later point, doctoral programmes will be provided as well.
